Everything is just so perfect here. Absolutely EVERYTHING.
I especially love Lutece masks. They remind me a great deal of death masks - although they still tie in with Songbird and a predatory nature vs. Booker's rabbit. I love all the little details here. Booker's hand bandage. The way he pushes Elizabeth against the wall ever so discretely. The light and dark aspects...the confetti-esque overlay...the staircase (which reminds me so, so much of Gatsby and makes my heart sing). And that Batman lookalike in the background ftw. Just utter perfection.
And, as another commenter pointed out - the expressions! Even with masks, you can read them clearly and it's so beautifully real. Gah. So much love for this <3
hasn't it been realese yet?
I thought it had...
"A city under the sea? That's ridiculous."
Then I realized...it IS Bioshock.
This is an amazing piece.

Its probably best that you didn't get there in time too! I've gone off on a "bender" and have been driving everyone crazy with my terrible sing alongs. XD
"Silently, the senses abandons their defenses."

Our games of make believe

of "if" or "when" -
no use resisting...

What sweet seduction lies before us?"

"Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules

Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes and leap!
It's time to try
I think I'll try
And you can't pull me down!"
